Back to work

I've been away from my beloved blog for almost a year now and I've missed it!  I've missed my wonderful, supportive readers especially.  So sorry for the extended absence.

Just because this blog has been stagnant, does not mean that I have been!

I'm still working away on my graduate studies slowly, but surely:
One of my fellow students said something along the lines of "graduate school is all about endurance".  I'm starting to think that he is right!

I have been knitting sweaters:
Because you can never have too many sweaters right?

I have been obsessed with finding the perfect granola recipe:
Please share your favorite if you have one, I've been inspired by this Buzzfeed post.

I have been learning bookmaking:
Using recycled materials mostly as I practice and learn more.

Kitty is snoozing away as always:
It's hard work being a kitty.

Plus so much more I hope to share with you very soon!

  1. Welcome back! I actually popped in a couple of days ago, so I'm pleased to 'see' you again xxx

  2. Yum granola, I wish I had a recipe to share. I hope you keep blogging :) As always, your Kitty looks ever so beautiful.

  3. It's so good to see you around again! Your sweater-in-progress looks beautiful, and so does your handsewn book - I was just thinking the other day that I want to get back into book arts; it's just so calming and fulfilling.

Looking forward to what you have to share with us next!

  4. Welcome back stranger! I've missed you and hoped you were doing well. Glad to see you are. That granola looks yummy and very healthy. KIT.

  5. Hurrah! You are back. I'm glad to see that you are still knitting. Especially since school can take up so much time.

  6. Welcome back :) I like the look of your sweater WIP

  7. Hey there! Lovely to see you back here - I love the look of your bookmaking and would love to hear more about that sometime. Glad to see you're finding a little time to get creative in amongst the work. X

  8. Welcome back! I like the look of that sweater and the handmade book. Super fun.

  9. I was thrilled to see your post on my blog reader this morning. Welcome back!

  10. So good to see you back in your space. I checked from time to time but figured you were bogged down in school work. Glad to see you've been busy but with other things as well!

  11. Welcome back, so pleased to see you are back with us.

  12. You're baaaaack!!! So glad you're doing well. :]

  13. Glad to see you back online! It's incredible to think that it's been nearly a year. Where does the time go? It's lovely to hear that you're doing well and keeping busy. And, no. One can never have to many sweaters.

  14. I've been wondering where you've been and hoping you were well! I'm glad to see you back. :) Hang in there, grad school certainly is about endurance.

  15. Gah!!! This is what I get for not paying attention to my "friends blog posts" feed in Ravelry. At least now I have a good number of posts to enjoy as I catch up. :) Welcome back!!! I've missed your posts, and sent good thoughts your way, hoping that your graduate studies were going well. So looking forward to your catch up posts!

I would love to hear from you!
